The Goody Books Online Store Privacy Policy describes how
we will treat personal information that is being provided by you. We do not use
“cookies” or any tracking technologies to collect information from users of our
web site.
Why do we collect your information
We collect your personal information to provide a superior level of customer
service. It enables us to correspond with you effectively on your purchase,
enquiry or any other issues.
Information we collect and how we may use it
When you make a purchase though us, we will collect certain personal information
about you in order to process and fulfill your order including your name,
address, phone number and email address. They are required in our accounts for
fulfillment of your order.
These information will be saved in our database and will only be viewed within
our premise for order fulfillment purpose.
We will include your email address into our Goody Books Mailing List, in which
you can choose to unsubscribe.
Information we do not collect
We do not have access to your Credit Card / Debit Card number as the payment
processor, Paypal, is the direct recipient of any payment made by you via Credit
/ Debit Card.
We will not save your bank account numbers or transaction details.
All data related to payment issues that are deem sensitive and often preyed by
“social engineers” are deleted upon first view.
Disclosure
We will also not disclose, share, transfer, sell or rent personally identifiable
information to any 3rd party. While we do not send unsolicited marketing email
to our users, we send occasional emails on special promotions. Users may opt-out
of receiving these communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button on the
email.
